1-Year Limited Warranty

The Winters Build warrants that all preconfigured and custom-built desktop computers sold under The Winters Build brand are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.

1. Coverage

This Limited Warranty covers:

  • Defects in hardware components due to manufacturer fault

  • Assembly or workmanship errors by The Winters Build

  • Failure of included parts under normal operating conditions

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, The Winters Build will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective component, or

  • Replace the defective component with the same or comparable part, or

  • Replace the system if deemed necessary

2. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage, misuse, abuse, or neglect

  • Damage caused by liquid, fire, power surge, or improper power supply

  • Damage caused by overclocking beyond manufacturer specifications

  • Software issues, viruses, or operating system corruption

  • Third-party modifications or unauthorized repairs

  • Normal wear and tear (fans, cosmetic wear, thermal paste aging, etc.)

3. Third-Party Component Manufacturer Warranties

Many components (GPU, CPU, RAM, SSD, PSU, etc.) carry their own manufacturer warranties that may extend beyond one year. After The Winters Build warranty period ends, customers may contact the component manufacturer directly for warranty support.

The Winters Build will assist with manufacturer RMA coordination during the first year if needed.

4. Warranty Service Process

To request warranty service:

  1. Contact support at: Support@thewintersbuild.com

  2. Provide proof of purchase and system serial number.

  3. Describe the issue in detail.

If return service is required:

  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs to The Winters Build unless otherwise stated.

  • The Winters Build will cover return shipping after repair within the continental United States.

  • Systems must be properly packaged to prevent shipping damage.

Turnaround times vary depending on parts availability.

5. Data Responsibility

The Winters Build is not responsible for loss of data. Customers are responsible for backing up all data prior to warranty service.

6. Limitation of Liability

This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by The Winters Build. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profits.

7. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise approved in writing.
